Reese's Baptism

Last Sunday was Reese's baptism. Overall it was a great day and we had a good time seeing family and friends. I was really nervous that Reese would start screaming during mass or during the baptism, but she did great! I think she really liked the music because she just sat there looking around the entire time. After mass was the actual baptism. Reese LOVED the warm water on her head. The Monsignor was really impressed with how happy she was!
Aunt Mary flew into town for the event to be Reese's godmother and it was so great to see her again. Aunt Mary got to light the baptismal candle during the ceremony and luckily she had 4 inch heels on because otherwise she wouldn't have been able to reach the candle! We all thought it was hilarious that the Monsignor was making jokes about Mary's heels. :)
